The mother of the girl, Elizabeth Omale, has also responded to the whole episode, claiming that it was in no way intended to be used as an official ad for COZA. According to her, she was simply raising awareness for a program she was passionate about. She debunked rumors that Davido would be at the event as an ambassador of the church saying that they were false.
I would like to make some clarifications on the video I recorded with @davidoofficial for my church, the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). The video was in no way intended to be an official ad from the church. It was simply my way of raising awareness for a program I am passionate about. I have read reports online claiming that Davido is coming to the program as an ambassador of COZA because of the video, these reports are false.Elizabeth Omale – pulse.ng
Following Davido’s backlash, the video was removed from both the Instagram and Twitter accounts of the church.
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of COZA, was recently cleared of the rape allegations brought up against him by Busola Dakolo, the wife of singer Timi Dakolo.
