His record sales, estimated at 140 million records worldwide, made him one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
He died from liver cancer at his New York home on 1/10/2016, two days after his 69th bday and would have been celebrating his 73rd birthday today.
A lot of fans miss the idol who was known to be a hero, one who is intelligent, lively, heartfelt, whimsical and was out of this world in so many ways.
