Justin Bieber got emotional while giving a speech at an event for his album preview, describing the challenges he faced in the last couple of years.

The event which was a playback for his forthcoming album held at Village Recorders in West Los Angeles and the singer’s eyes welled up in tears as he recalled the depression he suffered in early adulthood.

He thanked his manager Scooter Braun for walking through a lot of ‘sh*t’ and stated that he was hurt by the people who work in the industry he grew up in.

Bieber disclosed that during his trying times he wasn’t sure who to turn to or trust and credited God for helping him through the dark times.

The singer then thanked his wife Hailey, saying he loved her and was proud of them, ending with a joke about having to get it together and shooting himself. He, however, emphasized that the last statement was nothing more than a joke.

The famous singer’s YouTube documentary premieres on January 27, 2020.
