What seemed like a match made in heaven has officially become a thing of the past as Hollywood couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are single again.
TMZ got hold of the court documents which confirm that both celebrities are now officially divorced.
The report further states that the lawyers who represented the former couple (Laura Wasser for Liam and Judith R. Forman representing Miley) worked their way quietly through obstacles to submit the divorce papers to the judge.
According to the documents, Miley will retain possession of their pets while their properties will be shared between the two of them without any issues.
Liam filed for divorce back in August 2019, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. This was followed shortly by rumors of Miley having cheated on him and she quickly came out to deny the allegations.
The music star stated that though she had done some things that she wasn’t proud of, cheating on Liam wasn’t among such things.
She also said that as a grown woman, she was responsible for her actions and that the split was for her own good.
