Oprah Winfrey Refutes Claims She’s Behind Prince Harry And Meghan’s Decision

Oprah Winfrey has denied allegations being made against her that she was the one who advised Prince Harry and Meghan to step back from senior members of the royal family.

Odu News earlier reported Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plans to step down their positions as duke and duchess of Sussex and work to become financially independent.

According to Oprah when answering questions from PEOPLE, she said they don’t need her advice to make any personal decision.

She said;

“Meghan and Harry do not need my help figuring out what’s best for them. I care about them both and support whatever decisions they make for their family,”

This statement was coming hours after she was accused by PageSix article saying she was the one who advised the couple to set back from their position as senior members of the British royal family.

According to reports she only encouraged the couple to move to America and build their brand, and the couple had also gotten some advice from their famous friends who were present at their wedding (the likes of the Obamas, George, and Amal Clooney).
