Prince Harry and Meghan who are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced they are stepping down from their “senior” royal and work to become financially independent.
The couple in a statement said they had plans of splitting their time between the UK and North American.
Odu News believes no royal members including the Queen or Prince William were consulted before they made this statement and everyone in the Buckingham Palace including the senior royals are hurt and quite disappointed.
Reports carry it that last year Meghan and Prince Harry revealed their struggles with social media spotlight and now the unexpected post on their page saying they made the decision after many months of reflection and internal discussions.
“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of t/he Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
And planned to balance their time between the UK and North America while continuing to honour their duty to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.
“This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”
