Fans who have been craving to get a rare look into the life of country singer Taylor Swift will finally get their wish granted as her story is heading to Netflix in a documentary.
Beginning from January 31, 2020, the documentary which is titled Taylor Swift: Miss Americana will be made available for viewing but will premiere first at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2020.
The upcoming production will delve into the life of the celebrated musician, giving viewers a “raw and emotionally revealing look”, pointing the spotlight on her record-breaking career.
Taylor had announced back in November that the documentary was underway. This was before her 2019 American Music Awards performance where she won the Artist of the Decade.
The latter part of 2019 had seen her reveal that Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta hadn’t given her permission to use old videos of her performances in the documentary and they had also forbidden her from singing her hit songs at the AMAs.
The ensuing backlash had made Braun call for a meeting with the singer so that they could resolve things.
Taylor is one of the artists who have consistently had unrivaled success as her steady string of increasing awards can testify. Her ability as a songstress and performer has made her one of the bestselling female artists of all time.
Her story on Netflix will take a look at her rise from an optimistic country singer to one of music’s most recognizable figures.
