Full of pomp and never short of celebrity A-listers, the 2020 edition of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTAs) held yesterday, February 2, 2020, and different actors and filmmakers left the occasion with notable achievements and honors.
The historic event took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London wasn’t without its fair share of criticism as most people lashed out at the fact that its nominees were whites.
British actresses Gemma Arterton and Carey Mulligan had to give suggestions that included more diverse nominees as BAFTAs themselves acknowledged the development, stating their disappointment and promising to conduct an internal investigation.
