[UPDATED] Edo Govt. Seeks Oshiomhole’s Arrest, Prosecution

The Edo state Government has made plans to see to the arrest of the National Chairman of the  All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole.

The state Government wants Oshiomhole to be arrested and prosecuted by the security agencies for constantly disobeying the orders of the state government.

The request for Oshiomhole’s arrest was contained in a petition submitted to the Inspector-General of Police and Director-General of the Department of State Services by the Edo State deputy governor, Philip Shuaibu.

The petition claimed that the APC National Chairman had consistently breached the peace of Edo State by ignoring lawful orders of constituted authorities.

Governor Obaseki had in a viral video recently vowed to deal with Oshiomhole if he keeps disrupting activities of Edo APC.

Deputy Governor of the state, Phillip Shuaibu who submitted the petition, however, said Oshiomhole remains his father even though they are presently not on the same page politically.
