Daniel Radcliffe has debunked rumors of his involvement in the upcoming Disney + series Moon Knight.
It was reported before now that the Harry Potter star was attached to play the eponymous character; a man whose encounter with an Egyptian deity takes him on a path that changes his life forever.
Addressing the rumors, Radcliffe spoke with ComingSoon.net, saying that they are untrue as it would take a really great script to get him back to a franchise.
If I was ever to go back into a franchise, I think the bar for that script would be even higher than anything else. Before you can sign on to being in anything for multiple years, you have to be sure you’re really going to love it all the time. I’m not averse to doing any kind of franchise thing in the future again, that could be fun. But the Moon Knight rumors are untrue, I can officially debunk that one, I haven’t heard anything about it. – Daniel Radcliffe – joblo.com
The actor’s words should end the circulation of the rumors and the real person to play the role should be revealed soon.
Meanwhile, Disney hasn’t said anything about the project and fans took their silence as an indication that Radcliffe’s involvement could be true.
Moon Knight is among the several projects that will be available on Disney + along with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision.
