When he passed away on February 5, 2020, Hollywood icon Kirk Douglas was described as a charitable person by his son Michael Douglas, but it seems that charity wasn’t extended to him.
Kirk was reportedly a generous man but failed to leave his son anything in his will as The Mirror reported that the deceased star gave $61 million to charity.

The money was reportedly sent to the Douglas Foundation, which will forward the proceeds to the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
According to reports, there was a sum of money ($10 million) that didn’t go to charity, but it remains unknown where it ended up.

Some might feel that Michael didn’t need the money from his late father as he is worth $300 million. Even his son Cameron wasn’t a beneficiary of Kirk’s will as well.
Like his father, Michael has a long list of movies to his name. His wife Catherine Zeta-Jones is also an established actress.
