Some Nigerians have taken to social media to attack members of the House of Representatives for refusing to endorse Innosun made in Nigeria vehicles as their official vehicles.
In a report titled Reps reject Innoson made- in-Nigeria SUVs as official vehicles, Dailytimes reported that the lawmaker who made the suggestion to endorse the locally made vehicles was shouted down during its executive session on Wednesday.
The report from DailyTimes also stated that the lawmakers insisted on brand new imported SUVs against the locally assembled and made- in – Nigeria brands.

If the Nigerian Government can’t promote home made products eg innoson cars etc how then do we seek to expand our economic growth? It’s a project the Govt supposed to support, but it’s been neglected. We aspire to be developed as the U.S, but we can’t even take a simple move. Smh

Those that want you to eat Nigerian rice are rejecting Innoson vehicles for official use.

In this same country, borders were shut down for us to patronize & grow local agricultural products. How come our REPS rejects INNOSON SUVs as official cars? If the Nigerian govt can't promote home made products like Innoson cars, why do they force us to stop eating foreign rice?
