An ingenious killer targets members of the police force in the creepy teaser trailer for Spiral.
Billed as the ninth installment in the Saw franchise, Spiral is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman with a screenplay from Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger based on a story by actor Chris Rock.
Scheduled to be released on May 15, 2020, by the Lionsgate Films, it sees two members of the police force (played by Chris Rock and Max Minghella) try to solve a series of puzzling murders that shake the whole precinct.
Based on what we have seen in the Saw franchise, the upcoming film should be packed full of gory details and explicit content. Sensitive viewers would do well to stay clear of it when it arrives.
Chris Rock is known in the comedy genre but he has been changing that lately with appearances in dramatic features. That should continue here as he seems to be right in the middle of the case.
Samuel L. Jackson also joins the hunt for the sadistic perpetrator and we hope it’s a thrilling encounter as the battle to unmask the killer begins.
