Hollywood star Olga Kurylenko has revealed that she tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus.
Kurylenko is a Ukrainian-born French actress and model who was discovered at the age of 13. She found fame as an actress for her role as Nika Boronina in the movie adaptation of the popular video game Hitman (2007).
Her portrayal of Bond girl Camille Montes in Quantum of Solace (2008) gained her international prominence and opened the way for more high-profile roles in Hollywood.
Kurylenko starred opposite Tom Cruise in Oblivion (2013), with Russell Crowe in The Water Diviner (2014), and alongside Rowan Atkinson in Johnny English Strikes Again (2018).
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress disclosed that she was locked up at home after testing positive for coronavirus.
Kurylenko said that she had been sick for almost a week, and that fever and fatigue were the main symptoms. She then urged members of the public to take care of themselves and take the virus seriously.
“Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”
