A property worth N200 Million has been linked to the elder sister of embattled former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
The property is located at No. 44, Osun Crescent, Maitama, Abuja, and has been traced to one Mrs. Moji Oladeji, who has been confirmed to be the older sibling of the former Governor.
Punch reports that Olugbenga Falai, a banker, disclosed this information in the ongoing N2.2 billion fraud trial of Fayose yesterday while testifying as the sixth prosecution.
Fayose, alongside a firm called Spotless Limited, is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Both defendants pleaded not guilty to the N2.2 billion fraud charges.
Led by the prosecuting counsel for the EFCC, Falai disclosed to the court that although he is presently working with Ecobank, he is still an employee of Skye Bank (now Polaris).
Falai told the court how the bank put up for sale a property known as No. 44, Osun Crescent, Maitama, Abuja for the sum of N200 million.
