Billionaire Aliko Dangote Tests Negative For Coronavirus

Nigerian business magnate Aliko Dangote has announced that he tested negative for the coronavirus.

In a time when the world has been plunged into untold hardship as a result of the spread of COVID-19, Dangote’s message to the public will be seen as reassuring as more highly-placed individuals in the country have contracted the virus.

The mogul made the disclosure on social media, noting how the pandemic has disrupted modern society and has affected the health and well-being of many.

Dangote also revealed that he is leading other private sector leaders in supporting ongoing government initiatives with resources in the fight against COVID-19.

His statement reads:

“The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted modern society, affecting our collective health and well-being.

As a global citizen and business leader, I took the COVID-19 test and the result came back NEGATIVE.

Coalition Against COVID-19 is an initiative that I am leading with other private sector leaders&our common goal is to support ongoing Government initiatives with our resources in the fight against COVID-19.

We are in this together and I am optimistic we will overcome.”
