President Muhammadu Buhari has imposed a Curfew on Lagos and Ogun states, including the nation’s capital, Abuja.

The President stated this in a national address on Sunday.
The curfew is to start on Monday by 11 pm.
President Buhari in his speech advised residents in these states to remain in their domain as there won’t be inter-state movement from Monday.
According to the President, Lagos State has the highest cases of Coronavirus, which is the more reason for the curfew to avoid spreading to other states. Abuja, on the other hand also has an ‘alarming’ record of COVID-19 cases. Ogun State, mainly because of ita proximity to Lagos state.
