Burna Boy’s smash hit single On The Low has gone gold in France.
The African Giant himself was on hand to receive a gold plaque for his 2018 track that became a hit, amassing more than 103 million views on YouTube. The gold plaque is selling 100,000 (or more) copies of the single.
An artist whose single has gotten streamed 15 million times in the country also gets a gold plaque. So, 15 million streams in France is equivalent to 100,000 sales.
Burna Boy was accompanied by his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, and in an Instagram post, he showed appreciation for those who made the recent achievement possible.
Released on November 16, 2018, On The Low is the second single off Burna’s African Giant album. It was produced by Kel P.
