The 2020 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is likely to be shifted over coronavirus concerns.
No announcement has been made but multiple outlets have reported that there are talks to postponed until October 2020 because of the spreading virus.
Over 125,000 people are expected to be in attendance at the world-famous music festival which takes place in Indio, California. It was scheduled to hold across six days on the weekends of April 10 and 17.
This year’s lineup features musical acts like Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, Lana Del Rey, Big Sean, and Calvin Harris.
A local public health emergency was declared on March 8 in Riverside County (the southern region of California) where Coachella Valley is located. Health officials confirmed the next day that three new cases of COVID-19 had surfaced in the area.
