Outspoken critic of the President Buhari administration Mr. Reno Omokri has urged the Senate President Ahmad Lawan and the Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila to give out their exotic cars the doctors and nurses who are battling the coronavirus.
Mr. Omokri made the call via his Instagram account, telling the politicians to do the right thing and give their cars to those sacrificing to keep Nigeria safe.
The motivational speaker said that while the doctors and nurses were sacrificing to keep the nation safe, the senate president and speaker, along with President Buhari were hiding.
Mr. Omokri stated that medical personnel deserved the cars more than their present owners and that having them when those at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic were struggling was an extreme act of selfishness.
He further advised that the N150 billion budgeted by the country’s leader for less than 500 of the senate members should be used as an economic relief package to pay N10,000 to the poorest Nigerian families.

Dear Senate President Lawan and Speaker Gbajamiala, Do the right thing and give your exotic cars to the doctors and nurses who are sacrificing to keep Nigeria safe while you guys and General Buhari are in hiding. They deserve it more than you guys. Having such cars in your possession, while our health care providers, who are at the forefront of this #CoronaVirus pandemic, are struggling, is an extreme act of selfishness. In fact, the ₦150 billion General Buhari budgeted for less than 500 of you should as a matter of urgency he surrendered up and used as an economic relief package to pay ₦10,000 to the poorest Nigerian families #LeadOrLeave #BuhariTormentor
