US rapper DeAndre Cortez Way known in the music circle as Soulja Boy is smiling to the bank, thanks to his soap company.

Even as coronavirus has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), the hip hop artist revealed in a recent interview that he and Manager Miami Mike made an investment in a Mississippi franchise of The Soap Shop.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, sources have said that the store’s profits have tripled as people are snatching up items amid the viral outbreak.

The Soap Shop sells hand soap, dish detergent, and other cleaning products, and has gone from selling 100 bottles of cleaning products a month to well over 3,000 bottles, as seen on the website.

The implication of the above is that the business is experiencing a record 3,000% increase.

Soulja Boy released his debut single Crank That (Soulja Boy) in September 2007, and it peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.
