Veteran Hollywood actor Tom Hanks has revealed that his coronavirus symptoms remain the same in his latest update to fans.
Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were confirmed to have tested positive to COVID-19 last Wednesday while filming in Australia alongside Austin Butler, Olivia DeJonge, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Rufus Sewell. None of them have tested positive for the virus.
Hanks and Wilson were placed on admission to a hospital in Queensland and were released recently.
The Forrest Gump star has been keeping fans posted on his health status on social media, and in the latest (on Twitter), he disclosed that the symptoms were still the same.
He wrote:
“Hey folks. Good News: One week after testing positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same. No fever but the blahs. Folding the laundry and doing the dishes leads to a nap on the couch. Bad news: My wife has won 6 straight hands of Gin Rummy and leads by 201 points. But I have learned not to spread my Vegemite so thick. I traveled here with a typewriter, one I used to love. We are all in this together. Flatten the curve. Hanx.”
