According to the singer’s attorney, Steven Greenberg he pleads to his release and says his client is willing to wear electronic monitoring as he claims the jail is not safe for him over contracting COVID-19 which is gradually spreading across the world.
To him it does not matter the steps the jail takes to ensure proper sanitation it will still be substandard and the risk of the virus spreading in there is great.
R.Kelly, on the other hand, is currently held in a jail in Illinois as he awaits trial.
