Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to provide an economic relief package for Nigerians.
The thespian stated that the money would help the citizens as they comply with the stay at home order as a result of the coronavirus crisis.
Using his Twitter account, Yul Edochie said that even if it’s N50,000 the president gives to Nigerians, it would go a long way as people are hungry, locked down with no money.
He said that with what the people are experiencing in their current situation, it would be difficult to keep them at home.

Edochie’s tweet comes after the President addressed the nation via a broadcast yesterday.
President Muhammadu Buhari had announced that Lagos, Ogun, and Abuja states will e shut down for two weeks as part of the measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Nigeria has now recorded 111 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
