Italian authorities say the country’s lockdown would be extended to at least April 12.
Italy’s health minister stated this on Monday.
Italy has recorded over 100,000 cases from the Coronavirus pandemic and 11,591 persons have died as a result of the virus.
A meeting of the government’s scientific committee recommended extending all containment measures at least until Easter Sunday, April 12, Roberto Speranza said in a statement.
