Man Who Burns Down Churches Gives Reasons Why

A man who burns down churches has said that he does it because he is still poor despite their prosperity preachings.

According to a police report, the 21-year-old man allegedly set three churches ablaze in Uganda, because they preach prosperity gospel that has failed to get him out of poverty.

In his statement, he claimed he was angry because he remained in poverty which made him buy two liters of petrol and one for paraffin with the intent to burn the churches completely to ashes.

Mr. Ngobi reported himself at Kira Division, where he is being held armed with three brand new knives which he told police were for self-defense in case he was caught in action.
