
Naira witnessed a further decline against the US Dollar at $1/₦404 in the parallel market, indicating a ₦24 (6.3%) loss compared to $1/₦380 recorded earlier on Thursday.
The currency retained its value against Pounds Sterling as it currently costs ₤1/₦480 for sellers and ₤1/₦485 for customers buying.
The US dollar is bought at the parallel market at $1/₦375 and sells for an average of $1/₦404 while Euro is bought for €1/₦405 and sold for €1/₦410. Indicating a reduction compared to €1/₦412 sold earlier in the morning.
