Reporter Calls Meghan Markle ‘Trailer Trash’ On Live TV

A British reporter did the unthinkable while on live television, describing Meghan Markle with scathing words.

The reporter, whose name is Victoria Mather, was an MSNBC guest and was being interviewed in London when she was asked to comment on Meghan and Harry’s big return to the UK for their farewell tour.

It came as a shock to everyone around the world when Harry and Meghan took the decision to step down from royal duties in January.

The royals subsequently moved to Canada, and it seems the drama which has followed Meghan (who many see as the instigator of the move to step down) still hasn’t stopped.

Apparently, Mather doesn’t like the Duchess of Sussex and says she has been ‘disrespectful’ to the British royal family and the Queen.

Explained the reporter:

 “I think what has really, really upset the British public is that Meghan Markle, who many people consider as only, you know, five clicks up from trailer trash, has actually tried to disrespect the queen. And the queen is the most respected person, most respected woman, in the world.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the reporter has thrown insults at the former actress as she did something similar late last year when she wrote a piece calling Meghan “the Duchess of Excess”, asserting that Harry was “the naughty boy we loved, the soldier who served bravely in Afghanistan” who is now the “Prince of Wokeness.”

Mather had written:

 “Catherine [Duchess of Cambridge] comes from a stable, close-knit family. Meghan comes from a sadly dysfunctional family, leading her to be unpleasantly trolled as trailer trash. Her soi-distant acting career most recently included a part in a cable-TV series — filmed mostly in Canada, no less! It’s not exactly Grace Kelly, but the British public willed her to be a similar fairy-tale princess.”

 

The reporter’s comments got negative reactions from fans who bashed her.

One of them stated: “Wooow & you see why Harry took his family and stepped down! You see what and how people really think and feel about someone they don’t even know.”

Another person said:  “She’s American, she’s half-black, and she’s a divorcé. The British press has put her through hell. Now I see why they left! They have no respect for her.”

The fan went further:  “She must be talking about herself Bc….  And this is not even the worst one. There is another royal correspondent on ITV who says it is her duty to say these things. And people wonder why they are separating from the royal family … smh.”
