Nigerian Air Force Strikes Decimate Terrorist Camps in Zamfara

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully executed air raids, resulting in the death of numerous terrorists within Zamfara state. These precision strikes targeted the hideouts of notorious leaders Abdullahi Nasanda in the Zurmi Local Government Area and Mallam Tukur in the Gusau local government area on April 10.

In a revelation made by NAF’s spokesperson, Air Vice Marshall Edward Gabkwet, on April 11, it was noted that the strikes followed detailed Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

The announcement included: “Having established that their activities were consistent with terrorists’ modes of operation, the location was struck by multiple aircraft passes, thereby neutralizing several terrorists.”

The statement further detailed that similar ISR operations pinpointed activities at Mallam Tukur’s Camp. The subsequent air raids on this location resulted in the elimination of numerous terrorists, with the operations also causing significant damage to structures and setting them ablaze.

Moreover, the air offensive expanded to include Kani kawa in Maradun town, situated within the Maradun LGA of Zamfara State. These attacks focused on dismantling terrorists’ bases and destroying their resources and equipment.
