The President of the United States Donald Trump has spoken about the security details of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now that they are currently in the United States.
The US leader has stated that the country will not be paying for the couple’s security (which reportedly costs $1 million).
The former royals moved to the US from Canada a few weeks ago, and in a tweet yesterday, President Donald Trump said that even though the Queen of England was his friend, Prince Harry and Meghan will foot their own private security bills.
His tweet reads:
“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the US. However, the US will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!”

It had been announced by People that Prince Harry and Meghan had relocated to the United States of America and that they will be staying in a secluded compound in Los Angeles (Meghan’s hometown). They haven’t come out since amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prince Harry and his wife had taken the world by surprise back in January with their decision to step down from royal duties, a move that attracted a lot of criticism and backlash.
