Kanye West is known for speaking his mind, even though that may put him in conflict with the rest of the world, and he has recently stated that he will vote for President Donald Trump this November.
The hip hop star and entrepreneur was quite vocal about his loyalty to Trump while talking to GQ Magazine on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, saying that despite all the negative reactions it generated when he donned a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, he remains team Trump.
Asked if he will be less vocal in the forthcoming election, Kanye replied:
“No, I’m definitely voting this time. And we know who I’m voting on. And I’m not going to be told by the people around me and the people that have their agenda that my career is going to be over. Because guess what: I’m still here!
I was told my career would end if I wasn’t with [Hillary Clinton]. What kind of campaign is that, anyway? That’s like if Obama’s campaign was ‘I’m with black.’ What’s the point of being a celebrity if you can’t have an opinion? Everybody make their own opinion! You know?”
Kanye has always been a supporter of President Trump from the beginning and has even paid him a visit at the White House.
