Funks Akindele and husband JJC Skillz will be taken to court for violating the restriction order as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie star’s arrest was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, Bala Elkana, who stated that it was imperative following the viral video of the birthday organized by the actress for her hubby.
Mr. Elkana also revealed that singer Naira Marley has been directed to report at the station.
Funke and her husband are to be charged at the Magistrate Court 1 in Ogba.
The police spokesman said that the development is a test run for the new la passed by the State Assembly and signed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

According to the provisions made by the law, the couple may be sentenced or given an option of fine.
