A 98 years old female COVID-19 patient has recovered in Lagos State.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this known in a tweet on Wednesday.
The Governor stated that she was among the 28 patients discharged in the state earlier today.
“Today, we discharged a 98 year old woman, our oldest #COVID19 patient in Lagos. She joined 25 others; 13 males and 12 females, discharged from our isolation centres after testing negative for #COVID19, bringing the total of our successfully managed and discharged patients to 528,” the tweet reads
The Governor also appreciated frontline workers for their efforts, and urged residents to play their part by adhering to safety guidelines to limit the spread of the virus.
Lagos remains the worst hit state in the ckuntry with 1,990 COVID-19 cases, as at March 12th, 2020.
