The 2020 edition of the BET Awards took place yesterday, June 28, 2020, and was streamed live as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Hosted by Amanda Seales, it featured performances from notable acts like Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Jennifer Hudson, amongst others.
Nigerian artist Wizkid clinched the BET HER Award, while Burna Boy went home with the Best International Act Award. Zimbabwean act Sha Sha also nabbed the Best International Act Award.
The biggest winners of the event were Beyonce, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Roddy Ricch, Nipsey Hussle, and John Legend.
