Nigeria has recorded 501 new COVID-19 cases bringing the total to 15,682.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced this via its Twitter handle on Saturday.
The country’s death toll has also risen to 407 as 5,101 persons have so far recovered.
According to the NCDC, Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 195 infections followed by FCT with 50 cases and Kano with 42.
