COVID-19: Ogun State Gets Mask Donation From Xiaomi

Tech giant Xiaomi has contributed to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria by making a donation of thousands of surgical masks to Ogun State.

According to reports, the donation is to support the government in its continued battle to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first batch of surgical nose masks was received by the Ogun State government by Her Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Alhaja Noimot Salako-Oyedele in a bid to protect the frontline health personnel at the forefront of the virus in the nation.

The donation follows Xiaomi’s move of already giving out medical supplies (including over a million masks), thermometers, protective gear, and ventilators to various markets in , Spain, France, Germany, the U.K., Belgium, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, , Ukraine, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Brazil, Turkey, , and Japan.
