Social media have been filled with news of the confiscation of the apartment belonging to media personality, Toke Makinwa.
The revelation was made by Gistmerchant blog on Instagram which alleged that: “Toke’s house was given to her by her “sugar daddy”, Lagos-based oil and gas businessman, Dr. Festus Fadeyi, whose total indebtedness to Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) is over N240 billion.”
AMCON had seized the assets of Fadeyi’s Pan Ocean Oil Corporation Nigeria Limited, its affiliate companies and other properties, over an unpaid N240 billion loan debt.
The disclosure that Toke Makinwa’s mansion has been confiscated has generated reactions on social media with many mocking her.
Responding to a twitter user who condemned those mocking her and might still ask her for help, she said she would help them.
And we shall help them ????????????????????. We move https://t.co/4wvBaRlIsS
