There is pandemonium in Correctional Centre in Lagos as it’s currently on fire and prisoners are trying to flee
Reports reaching OduNews.com at the moment confirm that the Correctional Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, is currently on fire. However, it’s not clear what has caused the fire outbreak but OduNews.com also confirmed that there is no break-in and as seen in the video, people running around are those trying to break the correctional centre but the security seemed to be intact.
At the moment, the security around the Ikoyi Correctional Centre has been beefed up. Reporters are not allowed access to the premises for security reasons, so all OduNews can confirm as at the time of filing this news is that situation is under control with heavy security presence.
