Yola the State capital of Adamawa is facing a tough time as some youths in the city broke into government food storage facilities to loot various items at Bakin Kogi and Kwanarwaya, near Sangere, along Numan road.

Security men were present at the scene but did not prevent the people from looting the food Items.

When ait.live contacted the State Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman Nguroje, he noted that the security tried their best to prevent the people from looting but to no avail and as such resort to ensuring no violence takes place.

Nigeria is currently witnessing an upsurge of attacks on government food storage facilities and carting away of food stuffs.
