The reaction is a sequel to a viral post from an unknown source showing the salary structure of the force starting from the police constable (PC II) to the commissioner of police.

According to the post, the police constable (PC II) earns the sum of N84,000 while the PC (I) earns N86,000. The post said a sergeant major earns N119,000.

The post claimed that the Inspector of Police (I) earns N254,000; Assistant Superintendent of police earns (I) N296,000; Superintendent of police earns N342,000 while the Chief SP earns N419,000.
