Nigerian human rights activist and humanitarian, Reno Omokri, has reacted to the viral news of the arrest of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The IPOB leader was arrested, and arraigned in court today and has been ruled to remain in DSS’ custody until further notice.
Reno Omokri, reacting to the news claimed that the only thing he faults Kanu for is his call on his members to kill policemen and soldiers, read below…
The only thing I fault Nnamdi Kanu on is his call on his members to kill policemen and soldiers. Other than that, he is a freedom fighter. Yes, he is under arrest today. Buhari who has arrested him was himself under arrest between 1985-88. No condition is permanent
The 47-year-old lawyer also compared the event of today to that of Ghana, say while Ghana is trying her best to arrest poverty, the Nigerian government on the other hand is arresting people.
