The Candidate of YPP in the forthcoming Gubernatorial election in Anambra state and Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, on Sunday at his country home, met with state leaders of YPP, executive members of Afaigboefuna Movement, Active Voters Solidarity, Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement, Afaigboefuna Like Minds, Aguleri Frontiers and Mr. Infrastructure group, which are all his Political structures, in a bid to appreciate and commend them for their steadfastness and doggedness so far in standing behind him, when it mattered most and also to marshal out action plans that will consolidate their expected success at the upcoming Nov 6th Governorship polls .
Addressing the Political structure executives at his country home in Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi, Senator Ubah appreciated them for making YPP a household name in the state, as the only Political Party thus far that conducted it’s gubernatorial Primary Election without rancor, which in turn saw to a peaceful process, that was monitored by INEC, DSS, Police, and the press.
He however informed them, that with his emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of YPP, one step has been achieved, but the last lap which requires great commitment, has just begun, as whom much is given, much is also expected.
Senator Ubah who is now the YPP candidate, informed them, that the movement to Agu Awka is a process, and the first lap of the process has been concluded, and therefore urged them to go to the hinterlands of Anambra and spread the gospel of the YPP , which is the open door revolution that will usher in a prosperous and commercial driven Anambra He also charged them to use the registration and revalidation window provided by INEC which is billed to start on the 28th of June 2021 to inform the people in their various wards of the need to have a voters card which is there power to trigger good governance and foil the shenanigans of election riggers who take advantage of voter apathy and low turnout to put unpopular candidates in office.
The meeting which consists of all the chairmen , secretaries, women leaders and youth leaders of the various structures promoting the Ubah/YPP brand provided an avenue for robust exchange of ideas and feedbacks.
The upcoming party registration for the millions of the teeming supporters of the Ubah brand into the YPP was also discussed and modalities for deployment set.
Speakers at the event all reaffirmed their commitment towards ensuring the success of the party on November 6th.
