Some members of the All Progressives Congress in Kano state have been pictured donning an Ankara with an emblem associated with former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu, who is vying for the APC presidential ticket is scheduled to be in the state later today. Tinubu’s visit is coming a day after the immediate past Transportation minister Rotimi Amaechi visited the state.
There are strong inferences that the Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, is a major supporter of Tinubu’s presidential ambition and this appears to be evident in the razzmatazz displayed by members of the party in the state.
The Kano state APC chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, was also pictured putting on the attire with Tinubu’s popular insignia inscribed on it.
Tinubu is jostling for the APC’s presidential ticket alongside 24 other bigwigs in the party.
