Goodluck Jonathan Missing As APC Lists Presidential Aspirants To Be Screened

The All Progressives Congress has released a list of its presidential aspirants that would be screened ahead of the party’s primary election.

One notable name missing from the list is former President Goodluck Jonathan. Jonathan has been rumoured to be a strong contender for the APC’s presidential ticket after he got the party’s presidential nomination form.

Despite ongoing speculations on him contesting, the former president is still yet to make any definitive statement on if he will seek a return bid.

Felix Morka, APC spokesman, had said 28 presidential forms were purchased, but three persons — Chris Ngige, minister of labour; Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum: and Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) — did not submit their forms.
