1. APC may unveil Tinubu’s running mate Wednesday, party focuses on North-East

There are indications that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, may unveil his running mate on Wednesday. According to reports, APC governors and other stakeholders had agreed that the North-East should produce the vice-presidential candidate of the party.

2. Strike: FG meets ASUU today, SSANU Friday

The Federal Government has resumed talks with representatives of unions in the nation’s universities. Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Allied Institutions’ National President, Mr Ibrahim Mohammed, told our correspondent that SSANU’s meeting would be on Friday.
