Former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, says the Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi cannot emerge as the country’s president in 2023 despite the massive support he has garnered.
He stated that Obi’s agenda to cut cost of governance as he has listened to in Obi’s campaigns is not as important as unifying the country’s ethnic groups.
In the video shared on his verified social media platforms and seen by OduNews, Dino advised Obi to wait for his time.
He said: “Peter Obi is one of the finest Nigerians who is intellectually mobile, and administratively sagacious, a great Nigerian and has a great potential of being Nigeria’s president in the nearest future.
The Labour Party presidential candidate has been on the lips of many Nigerians since he declared to run for the country’s apex seat in the 2023 election.
His supporters, famously called ‘Obidients’ have taken over the country’s social media space and have continued to devise new means to promote his candidacy to Nigerians.
One of such is the imminent launching of a television station named, “Obidient TV”.
