The Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has called out his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, over his ‘political godfathers’.
Sowore says the labour party presidential candidate is being backed by past leaders who ruined the country.
He made the comment via his Twitter handle on Friday.
He said leaders like ex-Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida and Abdul Salaam Abubakar are the political godfathers of Obi.
In his words, “Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, Aliyu Gusau, abubakar Abdusalam and Ango Abdulahi are Peter Obi’s “Godfathers” the people that ruined Nigeria are the ones fronting for him. May it never happen that we work with these criminals!

Peter Obi didn’t constantly brutalize you for protesting peacefully.
He didn’t send you to jail, neither was he the one who has had you in & out of courtrooms trying to get your freedom back.
