The Nigerian Army says its troops have killed several ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists in its raid at Tamsun Ngamdu general area in Yobe State.

According to a terse statement posted on the official Twitter handle of the Nigerian Army on Tuesday, the operation took place late night on Monday 29th August 2022.

The troops also recovered weapons, ammunition, mobile phones and a motorcycle.

The military has recorded series of successes in its fight against terrorism in recent years.
