Governor Adeleke Freezes Osun Bank Accounts [Full Details]

Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke has directed that all bank accounts for the state of Osun be frozen towards operation until further notice.

He gave the directive during his inauguration as Osun state’s sixth governor.

He also reversed policies introduced by former Governor Rauf Aregbesola and vowed to review all appointments made by his predecessor, who lost the election on July 17th, 2022.

After he was sworn in Sunday, Adeleke promised to deliver all his campaign promises.

“Under my watch, I will correct past injustices as well as injustices or policies enacted by previous administrations which are against the interests of our people.”

He ordered an Executive Order to reverse the policies of Aregbesola and officially restore Osun State as the State of Osun.

He also announced that the slogan of the State will no longer be ‘State of Virtue’ but ‘State of Living Spring’.
