Governor of Plateau State and Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Bako Lalong, has continued his efforts to ensure the success of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other party candidates in the upcoming elections.

Lalong, who was at his hometown of Shendam Local Government in the state of Plateau for New Year’s celebrations, met with various interest groups and party members from the region.

He stated that he was at home to celebrate the New Year with his family and also to engage them on the upcoming elections, with the intention of sensitizing them to the Renewed Hope of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Ticket and the APC in general.

While thanking them for their support throughout his political career, the DG stated that the APC is deeply planted in the zone and Plateau State as a whole due to the numerous projects and programs that have a direct effect on the people.

The Governor, who is also a candidate for the Plateau South Senatorial District, promised them that Tinubu and Shettima will work for all Nigerians and ensure that the nation’s resources are distributed with equity, justice, and fairness.

He recommended them to vote for APC candidates for governor, state legislature, and the national assembly, as well as for president, and he cautioned them against falling for the tricks of the opposition, who are making empty promises.

Lalong stated that with his nomination as director general of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, the people of Plateau State Shendam will already have a place of honor if Asiwaju Tinubu is elected president.

Miskoom Alex Naantuam, chairman of Shendam Local Government, stated that all stakeholders have agreed to vote APC from top to bottom due to the caliber of candidates and their ability to perform.
